Pastoral Requirements
Our church mission statement is one of Kingdom Building, which interjects building ourselves up through the word
of God and then sharing our knowledge with others to further build the Kingdom, as the word of God requires. At
Antioch, we are Disciples of Christ in the church of three ships: Worship, Friendship, and Fellowship -- where
worship is produced by our daily devotion with God; where friendship is produced by our love; and where
fellowship is produced by our relationship with Christ.
In accordance with 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9, our Pastor will accept this task of leadership by being
hospitable, loving what is good, being self-disciplined, upright, and holy. The candidate must hold firmly to the
message as it has been taught, teaching and preaching the word of God through sound doctrine.
